The Playstation/PSVR version is blue, with a big, shiny PlayStation logo in the center, and only works with the natively compatible Playstation games. The PC/PC VR version is red (or black, if you chose the Black Limited Edition!) and works with all PC/PC VR and Xbox One games, native or not.

PlayStation 4/Playstation VR

Recently, we launched a PlayStation version of the 3dRudder! With the Playstation 4, use the 3dRudder in all the PlayStation/PSVR games that are natively compatible with the foot controller. To play with the 3dRudder in these games, just plug the device via an USB cable to your console! Wait for a few seconds until the device is detected, and that’s it.

Some of you might use an external hard drive and only have two USB ports. But that should not prevent you from playing with the 3dRudder! After a quick search, you’ll surely be able to get ahold of a cheap USB hub on the internet.

The list of compatible games numbers more than 30 titles at the moment. Among them: Sairento VR, Scraper: First Strike, Space Junkies, The Mage’s Tale, Telefrag VR… And the list keeps expanding every month! Stay updated regularly by checking the list of PSVR compatible games.

PC/PC VR

There is two ways to play with the 3dRudder in PC VR games.

For PC/PC VR games that are natively compatible, it’s as easy as for PlayStation games! Plug the foot controller to your computer via an USB cable, and you’re ready to go. You can find the list of all the PC VR game available in “plug and play” here!

Now let’s talk about the PC/PC VR games that are not already natively compatible with the 3dRudder.

To play with these games, we created a 3dRudder Dashboard! It’s an easy-to-use companion app, allowing you to play with the foot controller in all PC/PC VR games! With regards to PC VR games, the 3dRudder is already fully compatible with HTC Vive/Vive Pro, Oculus Rift/Rift S and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.

To install the 3dRudder Dashboard on your computer, click here!

Once you installed the app, go to the “Unleash VR” tab where you’ll be able to map the motion controls of the HTC, the Oculus or the WMR’s hand controllers on the 3dRudder, and thus to move with your feet in-game. It works with all PC VR games!

Moreover, know that our team has already created “ready-made” configurations for a few games, that you’ll find in the “Games” tab. Choose your game and click on “Activate Game Settings”.

Thanks to the Dashboard, you can now play games like Skyrim VR or Doom on PC VR with the 3dRudder. Enjoy!

XBOX One

For those who may not know it, you can also play with the 3dRudder on Xbox One via the Xbox Adaptive Controller! The “XAC” enables you to map one of the thumbsticks (the right one or the left one) of the Xbox hand controller on the 3dRudder!

To play with the XAC and the 3dRudder on Xbox One, plug the 3dRudder on either side of your XAC and wait for a series of beeps before you put your feet on the device.
