Turn into the biggest fish with your 3dRudder
Welcome to the lagoon with its warm, crystal clear water. You’re a little fish among plenty other fishes. Some of your neighbors are real tiny, these you can eat, and some are bigger than you and kind of scary, these can eat you. The game is about becoming the biggest fish. The only way to achieve this, is to eat all the fishes. But beware, if you underestimate the size of your next meal, all that will remain of you are the bones.
Munch is a cute little game developed by Mostly Harmless Games, with Nemo’s like graphics that will appeal to all ages.
Without the 3dRudder
Munch is a room-scale VR game, meaning you need a clear & dedicated area with minimum dimensions of 2x1.5 meters to play the game. Let’s be honest, the experience is nice, but getting overly enthusiastic while avoiding a nasty fish might get you bumping into your chest drawer!
With the 3dRudder
Munch is not the kind of game in which you have thousands of miles to travel but as it normally requires a play area, a clear space you don’t necessarily have at home, playing seated with the 3dRudder will be much more convenient, and … secure!
How to set it up
Munch is a VR game that can be played with the HTC Vive VR headset and the associated hand controllers. Playing Munch with the 3dRudder as a movement controller requires the VR Unleashed mod. To do so, you need to download the software VR Unleashed we developed and follow the steps explained in our tutorial. Once the software installed on your computer, you’re ready to play. Sit down, start the game, put your VR headset on and navigate the sea with your 3dRudder.
